David R. Caudle
Member Manager
Mr. Caudle is the Managing Attorney of the North Carolina Foreclosure Division of Caudle, Parnell & Tatum, PLLC. He attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a B.A. Degree in History in 1971. Following his graduation from UNC-CH, he attended The Cumberland School of Law located in Birmingham, Alabama where he received his J.D. Degree in 1974.
Mr. Caudle has practiced law in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1974. In 2004, he founded The Caudle Law Firm, P.A. and has restricted his practice for the previous seven years to the exclusive representation of mortgage lenders in the legal areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, REO and creditors' rights. In 2011, Caudle, Parnell & Tatum, PLLC was formed by the merger of The Caudle Law Firm, P.A., Tatum Law Firm, PLLC and W. Chris Parnell. In addition, Mr. Caudle is admitted to practice before all three Federal District Courts in North Carolina.

W. Chris Parnell
Member Manager
Chris Parnell is Managing Attorney of the North Carolina REO (Real Estate Owned) Division. Chris focuses on REO, commercial and residential real property transactions, including title resolution. He also assists clients in real estate acquisition and development, represents commercial and residential lenders and business transactions, including creating, representing and advising corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. Chris has practiced law since 1975, representing many individuals, lenders, and businesses in all aspects of real estate transactions.

Brian S. Tatum
Member Manager
Brian Tatum is Managing Attorney of the Bankruptcy and Litigation Divisions. Brian focuses on bankruptcy, civil litigation, commerical and residential real estate transactions and general business affairs. He engages fully and actively in business and commercial litigation at trial and appellate levels of both state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies, as well as through the various channels of alternative dispute resolution.
Brian was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1997, the Alabama bar in 1999, the North Carolina bar in 2003, and the South Carolina bar in 2005. In 1992, he received his B.A. in English and Political Science from North Georgia College and State University, a small military school at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and graduated with high honors from the Army Officer’s Basic Course. In 1997, he obtained his J.D. from the University of Georgia, where he served as an editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. In 2006, he obtained his M.B.A. in General Management and Finance from Duke University.
